I have stripped my spare engine ready for modification.They are both shaft drive,I will lose some horsepower this way but will make it up in the internals.

Both engines are xv750 yamaha 1981 to 83.I will be modifying the donor engine for road use.I have quite a few of these and realise I could probably modify one of my xv920 engines for easier to achieve on the road horsepower but like the shaft drive of the 750's and I think I will be able to boost the standard engine to an acceptable level.I have modified quite a few American V Twins and realise the challenge.
